In the framework of Interreg project PROWAD Link and together with the NIT, WWF has developed the "Wadden Sea Tourism Radar" – a method to help destinations identify in time when and in which areas this limit is being reached.

As part of the partnership between the Common Wadden Sea Secretariat (CWSS) and Swiss watch manufacturer Oris, the collaboration’s annual event themed “Change for the better” will take place in Harlesiel, Lower Saxony, in mid-August.

During the Day of the Wadden Sea (Dag van het wad) on 25 June the first Dutch "ambassadeurs" of the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site were honoured.

In an effort to gain insights on perceptions about the Wadden Sea World Heritage Brand, a Brand Audit to record the status quo is being conducted.
