Change of tides - Overnight stay at the coast

-

Campingplatz Harlesiel

On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Wadden Sea World Heritage, we will spend one day and one night at the "Schwimmende Moor" (Floating Marsh). The "Sehestedter Außendeichsmoor" is a unique jewel between dike and mudflats. Moon and sun, ebb and flow shape the landscape and the behavior of animals and humans. What happens in the course of the changing tides and the sun circuit at the coast touches mind and soul. Join this little adventure. A walk on the seabed, the observation of the birds between their feeding and resting places, the sound of the sea and the change between day and night will occupy us. But we will also enjoy times of silence. The participants decide if they want to stay in tents with single or double beds or under the stars. Dinner and breakfast are prepared on the campfire with the best local ingredients.

Please bring rain wear/ sun protection according to weather, slim-fitted old socks or sneakers or surf shoes, sleeping bag, camping mat and flashlight.

The 24-hour event starts at 12.00.
