In a collaboration with partners along the East Atlantic Flyway, headed by the UNEP/AEWA Secretariat, the Common Wadden Sea Secretariat released “A Call for Cooperation: Saving the Places Migratory Birds Call Home”.

On 4 June 2020, together with its sister projects FAIR and C5a, Building with Nature organized an online conference “Be adaptive to become resilient”.

The proposed programme will support migratory birds and people living in 13 countries along the flyway against risks of climate related impacts.

The Wadden Sea World Heritage site is being affected by climate change. The extent, however, is as yet unclear.

The coordinated work of 36 countries from the Arctic to Southern Africa will enable understanding of migratory waterbirds status for better conservation.

The World Fish Migration Foundation partners with Wildlife Forever to promote aquatic conservation through art by collaborating on their State-Fish Art contest.
