“Who eats whom” was at the centre of this year’s Wadden Sea Day, held on 25 August in Wilhelmshaven.

In the framework of Interreg project PROWAD Link and together with the NIT, WWF has developed the "Wadden Sea Tourism Radar" – a method to help destinations identify in time when and in which areas this limit is being reached.

As part of the partnership between the Common Wadden Sea Secretariat (CWSS) and Swiss watch manufacturer Oris, the collaboration’s annual event themed “Change for the better” took place in Harlesiel, Lower Saxony, this week.

The Trilateral Wadden Sea Cooperation was invited to contribute a presentation on sustainable tourism development in the Wadden Sea World Heritage Destination.

As part of the partnership between the Common Wadden Sea Secretariat (CWSS) and Swiss watch manufacturer Oris, the collaboration’s annual event themed “Change for the better” will take place in Harlesiel, Lower Saxony, in mid-August.

The overall objective of this small-scale project is to develop a light pollution monitoring network within the Wadden Sea area that combines different measurement methods to achieve reliable results.
