On 20 to 23 April 2020, the PROWAD LINK project partners will meet on the Butjadingen peninsula in the project pilot region of the Wadden Sea World Heritage (DK/D/NL). Due to the Corono virus outbreak the meeting may take place virtually via phone or online platform. The participants will be informed with details in due time.
The 14 partner organisations from Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway and the United Kingdom will discuss the current status of the project and further developed the work packages on brand activation, enhanced brand engagement by establishing new or extending existing partnership programmes, sustainable entrepreneurship and co-creation of new or improved products and services linking nature protection and economic growth. The project aims to, in cooperation with interested SMEs, use the “nature-business-benefit-cycle” concept to develop new, sustainable products and offers in the pilot regions of the Wadden Sea (DK, D, NL), Geiranger Fjord (NO), Wash & North Norfolk Coast (UK). The 3-year Interreg VB project is co-funded by and carried out in the framework of the Interreg North Sea Region Programme under the Programme Priority 1 “Thinking Growth”. The programme is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of the European Union.
